Andreas Lazaris was born in Patras, Greece on 1.1.1962, is married to Marion Schaus-Lazaris and they have a daughter, Alma-Maria, and a son, George.

He finished basic school education and graduated in 1979 from the 3rd Patras High School.
In 1979 Andreas travelled to Germany, where he took German language courses and preparatory courses in Saarbruecken University. From 1981 to 1984 he studied architecture in the Kaiserslautern University and from 1984 to 1988 in Leibnitz University (Hannover) and got his diploma in Architecture.

During his studies he worked as student academic assistant in the Architectural Department of Hannover University (Course: Architectural Theory) and also as independent collaborator at the architectural firm Stadt+Haus, in Hannover, Germany.
In 1988 he won a prize to the architectural student contest in Germany with the project “Residence in Lindhorst, Germany”.
Andreas returned in Greece in 1988 and founded his architectural office in Patras.

Since 1988 he is involved in private and public projects, mainly in Greece and a few abroad.
In 1997 he participated in an architectural competition about “Formation of the Saint Nicolas mole, Patras” (Greece) and his project was repurchased.
In 1997 he participated in an architectural competition about “Maintenance – reconstruction – reuse from building Konaki Averof ” (Larisa Greece) and his project was awarded with the second prize.

From 2002 to 2010 he worked as a Laboratory Associate at the Renovation and Restoration Department in the Technological Educational Institute of Patras (Greece). He was a professor mainly at the course Public building design.
Andreas Lazaris’s office also undertakes the issue of Energy Performance Certificates and Real Estate Cost Evaluations for banks and individuals.
From 2012 to 2017 he was the Chairman of the Architectural Association of Achaia.
